Azzurra Muzzonigro is an independent architect, curator and urban researcher. From 2014 till 2019, she was an adjunct professor at the Politecnico di Milano in urban design. She holds an MSc in Building and Urban Design in Development from Bartlett UCL and a PhD in Urban Studies from Roma Tre University. Currently, she is curating, together with Florencia Andreola, a public program and a research project entitled Sex&theCity, a gender perspective on urban space for the Urban Center of the Municipality of Milan and Triennale Milano. Between 2013 and 2017, she has coordinated urban research and curatorial projects at Stefano Boeri Architetti. In June 2015, she founded Waiting Posthuman Studio, a multidisciplinary research platform straddling art, architecture, urban planning and philosophy. She started working as an independent curator and research consultant for Triennale Milano in January 2018. She organizes festivals and exhibitions. 37 years old, Milan.
